The Encinitas Lions Club, started in 1991, is a group of men and women who identify needs within our community and work together to fulfill those needs. The Encinitas Lions Club works on a variety of civic oriented annual projects such as Blind Surfing Event, Free Diabetes and Eye Testing Clinics; a Christmas Food Drive for needy Camp Pendleton families; Eye Glass Recycle for the Sight Impaired; Battery Recycling for the City of Encinitas and Guide Dogs for the Blind. Our signature program has been to install audible traffic signals for the sight impaired though out the city of Encinitas.
The Encinitas Lions Club meets for lunch on the second and fourth Monday of each month at the BestaWan Pizza in Cardiff from noon to 1PM. For more information contact Lion Julie Crawford at 760 753-8793 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
